Stand Up Paddle Board Fitness

We are just changing the name of our session from "SUP yoga" to "SUP Fitness" to welcome all fitness enthusiasts, levels, and workout varieties!

Come join us on board for a fun and unique outdoor activity!

Learn how to stand up paddle board (SUP) with us at our exclusive and peaceful Hilton Hawaiian Village lagoon! Then try our gentle workout routine and your favorite poses while balancing on the board, on our "floating mats" at our "floating outdoor gym"!

It's the best way to enjoy Hawaii with your family and friends!

All skill levels welcome (kids ages 8 years old and up).


Group Classes

Note: All participants must be able to swim. Ages 8 years and older.


Daily Group Classes

  • Available daily except Sundays at 8:30am (check in by 8:15am)

This is a 90 minutes session, including a mini stand up paddle boarding lesson. We start with a fun stand up paddling warm up transitioning to gentle stretching sequences and progressing into fun balancing poses! And "power nap" / relaxing time at the end of the session!

Yes! Falling off board and splashing in the water is part of it, it's also cooling and refreshing! Strike your favorite poses and smile for the picture!

Check-In Information

Check in is by 8:15am at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Lagoon Stand.

What to wear: Comfortable fitness clothing or swimming suit

What to bring: Hat, sunglasses, sunblock, towel / hotel towel card (if staying at Hilton), and cash/credit card for locker rental for your personal valuables.

Schedule: SUP Fitness classes are offered every day except Sunday (Class 8:30am-10:00am, check in by 8:15am, RSVP 12 hours)

What a Session Looks Like

Your 90-minute session starts with a mini stand up paddleboard lesson on the lagoon. Once you're comfortable, the instructor transitions into a fun stand up paddling warm-up, then gentle stretching sequences progressing into fun balancing poses. The session wraps with a "power nap" and relaxing time floating on the calm lagoon water.

Details

Group classes are available daily except Sundays at 8:30am (check in by 8:15am). Sessions are 90 minutes, including a mini stand up paddleboard lesson. All participants must be able to swim. Ages 8 and older.

All equipment is provided — board, paddle, and anchor. Towels available after class.

What to Bring

Wear comfortable fitness clothing or a swimsuit. Bring sunblock, a hat, sunglasses, drinking water, and a towel or Hilton towel card if staying at the resort. Cash or credit card for locker rental for personal valuables.

Private Classes

Private SUP Fitness classes are also available for groups, families, friends, special events, celebrations, and corporate events. Sunset classes available for private groups and special events. Contact us for availability.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need yoga or fitness experience? Not at all. The class is designed for all skill levels. It's about balance, fun, and being on the water.

What if I can't stand up on the board? The instructor will help you. Many exercises can also be done kneeling. There's no pressure — go at your own pace.

Is this the same as SUP yoga? Yes — we renamed it from SUP Yoga to SUP Fitness to better reflect the variety of workout styles in the session.

Do I need a reservation? No reservations needed. Classes are available on a first-come, first-served basis with typically adequate availability. Arriving early is recommended.
