Equipment Rentals

Do you offer weekly or multi-day lounge and umbrella rates?
Due to City and County ordinance we are not allowed to 'pre-sell' the chairs and umbrella rental. Daily rates only are available.
Can children use rental equipment?
Kids and non-swimmers should avoid equipment rentals for safety reasons.
Do you rent wet suits?
Wet suit rentals are not available, and we're unaware of rental alternatives locally.
Do you rent mask, snorkel, and fins?
Fins only are rented. Mask and snorkel sets sell for approximately $25.
Is chair and umbrella rental open to the public?
Yes, chair and umbrella rental is open for the general public, not just for Hilton guests.
Are surfboards always available?
We have limited inventory; boards occasionally sell out during good surf conditions.

Stand Up Paddling (SUP)

Do I need to make advance SUP Yoga reservations?
Payment is required upfront; complete the online reservation form.
Can I sign up for SUP on the same day?
Yes, available on a first come first serve basis with typically adequate inventory.
Do you have Japanese-speaking instructors?
Yes, instructor Yumi speaks Japanese.
What are the Ocean Safari SUP tour requirements?
The Ocean Safari is only for people who already know how to do Stand Up Paddle boarding and is not for beginners.
What are the daily/weekly SUP board rates?
Hourly rates only, first-come basis at the Lagoon stand (opens 9:30am).
Do I need reservations for SUP lessons?
No reservations needed; lessons are open to the public.
What's included in SUP Yoga and what should I bring?
SUP Yoga includes the board, paddle, anchor, and towels after class. Bring sunblock, hat, sunglasses, and drinking water.
How do hourly lessons work?
Lessons provide basic instruction then self-guided use. Lessons are restricted to Duke's Lagoon at the Hilton Hawaiian Village for safety reasons.
Can beginners do the Ocean Safari?
No; the Ocean Safari requires experienced SUP riders due to demanding ocean conditions.

Catamaran Tours

Is the catamaran wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately, our catamaran is not wheelchair accessible.
Do you provide transportation?
No; guests arrange their own transport to Hilton Hawaiian Village.
Are tours available on Thanksgiving and Christmas?
Tours don't operate on these holidays.

Canoe Tours

Can individuals make advance reservations for canoe tours?
A minimum of 4 passengers is required for canoe tour reservations.

Sales & Discounts

Do you offer Kama'aina discounts?
Yes, discounts are available on select equipment with a Hawaii-issued ID.
Do you serve Grand Islander hotel guests?
Yes, our services extend to all Hilton Hawaiian Village towers.
What requires advance reservations?
SUP Yoga, Surf Lessons, Canoe Tours, and Port Waikiki Cruises require advance reservations.

Location & Hours

Where are your rental stands and what are the hours?
Beach Stand: 8:30am–5:00pm (chairs $18/day, umbrellas $34/day). Lagoon Stand: 9:30am–dusk (same chair/umbrella rates; water equipment hourly).

General Questions

Where is lost and found?
Hilton has a lost and found at security or the Manager on Duty desk.
Do you offer parking validation?
Yes, 4 hours validation is provided for catamaran tour customers using self-parking.
